The Boiler Room is an intriguing exhibition space situated in a damp basement with no daylight;
the room carries all the beauty of impermanence.

The shapes are modelled with this specific room in mind as a fantasy of how it might have looked if evolutionary circumstanses had been different.

I'm struck with wonder over different beings ability to specialize in order to survive the most impossible and extreme conditions.

The shapes are all handbuilt stoneware,
sizes 40 - 210 cm.
